Come on, Prince. LEEDS IS CALLING.

I wish he would love him to pay in Leeds the academy would be perfect. I just know it's not going to happen though and if it is I bet I can't go because I won't be able to give enough notice at work to take time off.

...PRINCE JUST HAPPENED. Full report on with from 7am tomorrow.

better news for everyone outside:

Into 'I could never take the place of your man' Doors to gig seem to have opened to the (very grateful) fans.

Wow. What an amazing night! Got to Camden at about 10.30, queued for a couple of hours in the rain with some great people - forgotten ur names already but u were beautiful! Doors opened at about 12.30 and there we were, probably 2 metres max from the man! Played I Like It There, Cause & Effect & then Love 4 One Another jam. I can't believe it. He was stunning and the atmosphere was truly love for one another - amazing. He thanked us & the venue for the short notice and apologised for the set not being longer. True gent who clearly appreciates his hardcore fans whatever the naysayers come out with! I can't sleep now!! Need to go Uptown!! smile))

you're buzzing right now lol

Just waiting for a bus home now. Soaking still. Great group of people waiting outside...so glad we all got in!

Caught the end of I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man onwards. This London tour/hit and run/whatever is going to rock...in the true sense of the word.

Good luck with tickets and announcements tomorrow all.

Back home, 70 quid leaner than 2 hours ago...anyway, only bit of info that was on the grapevine to be heard, was that something will happen tomorrow afternoon. Overheard a phone conversation about "be there at 4.30pm and you will get in"

I guess in hindsight, I should have wandered off with Lianne and her crew, who were heading up the road to some place, but the mind never thinks like that in real time...

The next few days will be interesting... wink

Yup, the love4oneanother chant was kinda in the middle of cause & effect. I guess its part of the same song - but im not so familiar with this track. The atmosphere in there was amazing. Prince was in a fun mood - lots of leading the audience in hand claps and and vocals - you know, separating the guys from the girls. It was short but sweet and an amazing surprise smile

Oh you lucky lucky people that got to be there! So it looks like around 7pm at Electric Ballroom tonight (Wednesday)? 3rdEyeGirl tweeted a Youtube link with a URL at the end that is counting down to 13 hours from now... I am so tempted to just drop everything and go up to London, but I must be strong and hold out for something at the weekend!

capacity of the ballroom is 1000.....by the time you arrive (from abroad) you are too late i guess....hopefully it will be chaotic today so the following days there will be an online sale...Dissapointing...

By the way last nites gig was about 30 minutes i heard....

How are the tickets at the Ballroom normally handled?

At the door? Presales?

I'm pretty sure they usually sell tickets in advance for the Electric Ballroom. But who knows what will happen tonight?

Normally I'd think this was a slam dunk to get in - I'm in Camden already; there's a tube strike which should prevent quite a few people getting here; it's cold and wet which might put a few more off; but annoyingly I'm working until 6.45pm and I have a feeling just rocking up to the door at 7pm isn't going to cut it. I strongly suspect I'd need to be there a bit earlier than that so it looks like I'm going to miss out.

Hope everyone who gets in tonight has a blast.

(Incidentally, I just walked past the Electric Ballroom and the only indication anything happened is a typed sign on the door saying "Please note - there is no 3am show". No information about tonight at all.)

If you work nearby you will go over there to let us know what is happening, right?\

If the weather is bad and if it's a late show you might even get in...
